Who We Are

First Media & Entertainment Integrated Limited (FMEIL) is a data, insights & consulting and marketing research company based in Lagos.

We work in various research disciplines, including audience measurement, market research, media monitoring, advertising effectiveness and consumer behaviour.

First Media is the official provider of media ratings in Nigeria. Over the years our accumulated experience in the field working with different solutions ultimately allowed the company to develop its comprehensive platform.

Result driven and possesses exceptional media sales and marketing skills, an innovative thinker with expertise in law, finance and business development.

He founded Optima Sports Management International, first incorporated in the UK and subsequently in Nigeria which he directly managed for over 10 Years before assuming the Group Managing Director/CEO position in Optima Media Group Limited (“OMG”). He brings on board his wealth of experience in intellectual property development; media production and marketing communication with a particular bias for entertainment, sports and news. By background, Rotimi is an entertainment and IP lawyer with over 28 years management experience garnered from working with various media and legal organizations both in the UK and Nigeria. He is a graduate of the University of Buckingham (LLB); College of Law, Guildford; and the City University Business School (MSc in Investment Management & Finance) His stellar media entrepreneurial career sees him sit on a number commercial and social enterprise board in Africa and the UK.

Dr. Vesselin Chaoulov

CEO

Dr. Chaoulov graduated with MS in Physics in 2003 and Ph.D. in Engineering in 2005 in the College of Optics and Photonics in Orlando, Florida. Prior to his involvement with FMEIL he had extensive experience working for NASA Johnson Space Centre and then in the private technology sector, serving in various positions on several start-ups and large companies.

Some of Dr. Chaoulov’s patents and scientific research is utilized in several of the technologies developed by GARB over the years and he played important role in steering the R&D process in the company. Dr. Chaoulov has keen interest in the media business development in Africa and has been a keynote speaker at Creative Nigeria Summit in 2018.

Operations

Folasade Oladokun is a marketing communications specialist with years of experience in the Advertising Industry. She holds a B.A in English Studies and MSc. in Business Information Management both from Babcock University.
